Some people write songs. Some people write books. Some people help couples fall in love again and help people become who they were always meant to be. Welcome to my corner of the internet.
About

A Life Lived Unafraid

I'm Barry Dennis — musician, author, and life coach, though none of those titles came first. What came first was being unafraid: unafraid to fail, unafraid to try, unafraid to stretch and become something more — more than I was. That willingness led to the late nights at the piano, the notebooks full of half-finished poems, the crowds of hundreds, even thousands, the couples I've watched fight their way back to each other, and the people I've helped find their footing after years of standing still.

For 40 years I worked alongside some of the most respected names in personal transformation — Marianne Williamson, John Gray, Wayne Dyer, Joe Dispenza, and Alan Cohen among them — touring, speaking, and sharing stages built around one idea: that people are capable of far more than they believe. For over 17 years I served as senior minister of Celebration Church, where most of my time was spent doing the work I loved most — coaching individuals and couples on how to live their most extraordinary lives.

I've since stepped back from the road, both musically and as a touring speaker, to focus fully on that coaching work. What used to take a lifetime of stages and sermons to pass along, I can now hand to you directly — in months, not decades — through the same conversations that shaped everything else I've made.

The songs, the stories, and the coaching were never separate things. They were always the same instinct: to sit with a hard truth long enough to turn it into something useful, and to keep moving even when moving felt impossible. Every stage, every sermon, every conversation came down to the same choice, made again and again, for forty years.

Live unafraid.
